Who we are
Arnold Baumann is a trading name of Arnold's Designs Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13347215), registered office Unit 6 And 7 Tey Brook Centre Brook Road, Great Tey, Colchester, United Kingdom, CO6 1JE. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. You can contact us at office@arnolds.group.

What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, property or site location, project details, and, where applicable, your company name and anticipated investment. If you email or call us, we keep a record of that correspondence.

Our website also uses cookies. Essential cookies are needed for the site to work. With your consent, we may also use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page.

How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, arrange consultations, prepare designs and quotations, and deliver projects you choose to go ahead with. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing without your consent.

Our legal basis
We process enquiry information because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and for our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business. Where we use analytics cookies, we rely on your consent.

Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to operate our business, including our website platform (Squarespace), our email provider, and [any other tools, such as Google Workspace or Make]. They process information on our behalf and only as we instruct. If you go ahead with a project, we may share relevant details with manufacturers, suppliers and installers involved in delivering it. Some providers may store data outside the UK, and where they do, appropriate safeguards are in place.

How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for up to two years if a project does not go ahead, so we can respond if you get back in touch. If you become a client, we keep project records for as long as needed to provide aftercare and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, typically seven years.

Your rights
You have the right to access the information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. To exercise any of these rights, email office@arnolds.group.

Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
